Are partners welcome for classes, consultations, and workshops?
YES! We support and encourage your partner to be a part of any and all of Mothers Havens classes, workshops, and consultations!
What is your refund policy if we miss a class?
Once something is purchased at Mothers Haven we cannot offer a refund however if a class is missed due to sickness you are welcome to hop into the next class!
What areas do you provide service to?
We cover all of Rhode Island, Southern Massachusetts, and Connecticut. We also offer home visits in South County, Kent County, some of Aquidneck Island - anywhere that is within 15 miles of our business address.

At our gatherings, we have experts in the field who cover various topics such as infant feeding, sleep, maternal mental health, physical recovery, nutrition, and more!
When should I join a mom group?
We recommend parents begin participating in these mom groups when their infant is between one and eight months old.
What is the benefit of a mom group?
A key advantage of joining a parents' group is that it provides a supportive space for overwhelmed and isolated parents to connect with others facing similar challenges. In these groups, you can exchange stories, voice concerns, celebrate successes, and share struggles.
Can you go to a lactation consultation while pregnant?

What should I ask a lactation consultant at a prenatal visit?

Should I see a lactation consultant before birth?

Once you've chosen a counselor, you should find out how to schedule an appointment with them.
