✨ Informed Arrival: Childbirth Workshop

Feel informed, prepared, and confident for birth.

Informed Arrival is a comprehensive, interactive childbirth education class in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, designed to help expecting parents understand their options, prepare for labor and delivery, and feel empowered heading into birth.

Led by a Labor & Delivery nurse and fellow mama, this workshop combines evidence-based childbirth education with real-world experience and practical tools you and your support person can use throughout labor.

During this workshop, we'll cover:

🤍 Understanding Labor & Birth
Learn the stages of labor, what to expect as labor progresses, when to head to the hospital, and what commonly happens during the birth process.

🌿 Comfort & Coping Techniques
Practice breathing, positioning, movement, massage, relaxation, and other hands-on techniques to help you cope with labor.

💉 Pain Relief & Interventions
Understand your pain management options, common medical interventions, and how different choices may fit into your birth experience.

🤝 Partner Support
Give your partner or support person practical ways to help you feel supported, comfortable, and confident throughout labor and birth.

💛 Informed Decision-Making & Advocacy
Learn how to ask questions, understand your options, communicate your preferences, and work collaboratively with your care team—even when birth doesn't go exactly according to plan.

Our goal isn't to teach you the "right" way to give birth. It's to give you the knowledge and tools to understand your choices and feel prepared to navigate your own unique birth experience.

You'll leave feeling more informed about what to expect, more confident in your options, and better prepared to welcome your baby.
