Welcome to our gentle yoga class designed for parents to connect with their bodies, bond with their babies, and build a supportive community with other parents. From gentle movements to enhancing strength and stability, this class meets you where you are in your postpartum journey.
In this class, we focus on:

Body Connection: Connecting with your body and your baby to promote bonding.

Community Building: Creating a supportive environment by connecting with other parents.

Postpartum Wellness: Safe practices for strengthening or releasing pelvic floor muscles, improving posture, and incorporating deep core engagement into everyday activities.

Relaxation Techniques: Providing techniques to calm your body and mind, promoting relaxation and rejuvenation.
Led by Ashley Binkley, a local birth doula, this class emphasizes patience and grace with your changing body. Whether you've just given birth or are further along in your postpartum journey, this class is tailored to meet your needs.
📅 When: Mondays at 12 pm running from April 15th - May 13th
📍 Where: The Mothers Haven Collective, 901 Main Street, East Greenwich, RI
⏰ Duration: 45 minutes of yoga followed by 15 minutes of interacting, connecting, and playing
A Note: Ashley believes in rest, support, and recovery during the immediate postpartum period (birth-6 weeks). However, she recognizes that gentle movement can be helpful to facilitate recovery. She will introduce movements that are safe to do before the 6-week "medical clearance to exercise," if parents feel safe and ready to join us before that time.
