Motherhood is not meant to be navigated alone — yet for many new moms across Rhode Island, the postpartum period can feel isolating, overwhelming, and emotionally heavy. Between feeding schedules, sleep deprivation, and identity shifts, it’s easy to feel disconnected even when you’re surrounded by people.
That’s why Mothers Haven created the Mothers Haven Moms Club — a supportive, professionally guided moms group in East Greenwich, RI, designed specifically for new mothers looking for connection, reassurance, and community during the early months after birth.
For moms in Warwick, Cranston, North Kingstown, and Providence, the Moms Club offers something many families don’t realize they need until they find it: a space where you don’t have to explain yourself — you’re already understood.
Why the Mother’s Haven Moms Club Matters for Rhode Island Moms
While much of postpartum care focuses on physical recovery and infant milestones, emotional and social support is often missing — despite being just as critical. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 1 in 8 women experience symptoms of postpartum depression, and social support has been identified as a key protective factor for maternal mental health. In a small state like Rhode Island, many moms return to work early, live far from extended family, or are navigating motherhood without an established local support system. The Mothers Haven Moms Club was intentionally designed to close this gap by providing consistent, in-person postpartum support rooted in community, evidence based information, and connection.
